Flexible Childcare
Stepping Stones for Families provides families with quality, flexible early learning and childcare solutions.
Our Glasgow Childcare Centres are a partnership with Glasgow City Council and offer funded places for 3-5year olds within a full day care service catering for children age 0-5years.
Our term time Out of School Care service supports parents to enter, sustain their training and employment as part of our holistic childcare solutions in Possilpark, Glasgow.
We recognise that families sometimes require childcare at times to suit their work patterns and those work patterns do not always match with the times when childcare is available. Stepping Stones has a Childcare service to accommodate these needs. We can provide a quality childcare service in the family home – early morning, after school, in the evenings and at weekends. This service is also available for respite for families with a child / children with additional support needs.
Our Play and Care crèche services offer quality flexible childcare for organisations, businesses, colleges, universities, public sector to support their childcare needs on an ad hoc basis.

Family Support, Wellbeing and Family Play
Stepping Stones for Families is committed to an early intervention and prevention approach in our work with families affected by disadvantage. This can be personal disadvantage or geographical disadvantage, for example, rural isolation.
We recognise that there are times when being a parent/carer is challenging and so we provide a range of services to support parents in their role. These services are designed and developed alongside the expressed needs of the parents. This way we can be sure that our intervention work is effective.
Our family play activities focus on the parent and the child as individuals as well as a family. Using a social pedagogy approach and working with the family as a team we can support parent/child bonding and attachment and help build resilient families.
