Family Support Worker: Carrick Money Advice & Family Support Service
Location: Girvan (covering South Carrick)
Salary: £28,436 per annum

Sessional Childcare Worker
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £10.90
Hours: as and when required
The successful candidate will have insight, understanding and empathy towards the needs of parents and an ability to understand and support parents in a non-judgemental way.
They will provide early intervention and intensive family support to achieve improved outcomes for children, young people and families living in the South Carrick area of South Ayrshire.
A Qualification in Social Work; Community work; minimum SVQ4 CCLD or equivalent qualification and 2 years proven experience of working with parents in a community setting is essential for this post.
The post is funded by South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership until March 2025.

The successful candidates will have SCQF Level 7 SVQ Social Services Children and Young People (or equivalent) or be working towards a relevant qualification.
The ability to work as part of the childcare team to plan and deliver a range of activities for children is essential for this post. This requires good communication skills and a working knowledge of Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) Wellbeing Indicators.
