Thistle Childcare Take On a New Approach To Parents Evening
Thistle Childcare has been working on a new style of parent nights to increase attendance. This new more informal approach has been very well received.
During the evening we asked some parents two questions and received really positive feedback:
Question 1: What did you enjoy the most about our Open Evening?
“A very warm and welcoming way for parents to interact with staff and see how their child is doing within nursery. Getting time to read my child’ folder thoroughly”
“I enjoyed knowing about everything my child is learning in nursery. I likes seeing her progress and how far she has come”
“Staff being approachable but also being able to look through things on my own”
Question 2: What could we do to improve our next Open Evening?
“I feel it went very well. I don’t have anything I feel that could make it better”
“It was nice to spend time in my daughter’s environment”
“ Keep it the same, staff are amazing here”
“I am really happy with all the hard work that the staff put in to making sure both my children are happy and progressing well”
