Children’s Services
A major focus for our work is quality services for children and young people.
Developing confidence and self esteem in the early years lays positive foundations for the future. Feeling like a valued member of the community is important to a young person’s feelings of self worth.
Family Support & Development
We work with families using a holistic approach to family issues. From health and well being through parent and child communication to quality childcare, activities are planned to meet the needs of families. One parent says: “Stepping Stones for families allows you to take steps to make things better.”
Community Development
Stepping Stones For Families is seen to pull elements together to match the needs of people on the ground and still deliver on the national agenda.
This is evidenced by our work in South Ayrshire where our rural transport project, financial inclusion work, childcare development initiative and family support activities combine to create innovative solutions across a whole community.
