What We Do
Stepping Stones for Families is a national voluntary organisation, which has been connecting families and young people in Scotland for over 21 years.
Our work today provides support, opportunity and a voice for families and young people living in disadvantaged communities. Partnership is essential to our activities.
We work with local councils and other voluntary organisations to provide a range of high quality childcare, children’s services and family support across Glasgow, South Ayrshire and East Ayrshire. Our services are consistently graded as ‘Very Good’ and ‘Excellent’ by the Care Commission (the highest grades available). We always make the grades we receive known as we are always proud of them and a copy of the Care Commission’s full report can be found at their website.

Our Safer Recruitment processes ensure the best possible care for children who attend our centres. We believe that children should have the best possible start in life and our services reflect this belief.
