Connected Scotland, Tackling Isolation & Loneliness in Scotland
Stepping Stones for Families (SSfF) has welcomed the opportunity to submit a response to Scottish Government’s consultation “Connected Scotland - Tackling Social Isolation and Loneliness and Building Stronger Social Connections.”
To inform our response we engaged and consulted with each of our community based services to explore and harness their perspectives.
SSfF recognises the increasing evidence of the impact of isolation and loneliness across geographic and thematic communities. We have a range of services that have been co-designed (by harnessing social pedagogy) with families to support them as they seek to combat isolation, overcome loneliness and ultimately flourish in pursuit of their individual aspirations.
